This is a 360 degrees tour to Leh Ladakh, including visit to Zanskar, Nubra, Pangong and Tsomoriri as well.

The date is chosen so that you can be a part of the Karsha monastery festival at Zanskar while on this trip.

Itinerary

Day 01

Srinagar Airport Pick up + Houseboat Stay

On arrival at Airport you will be transferred to Houseboat. Day at leisure/ relax to gear up for the long trip. Overnight at Srinagar.
Overnight stay- Deluxe Houseboat, Srinagar; Meals included- Dinner

Day 02

Srinagar to Kargil via Sonmarg, short excursion to Hunderman village

After breakfast, proceed to Kargil. Enroute you will cross the mystic meadows of Sonmarg, tortuous Zojila followed by Drass Memorial, before you finally arrive at Kargil-the gateway to Ladakh. Check in to your hotel. After some rest, by 4 pm, proceed to Hunderman village (this excursion shall be done only if time permits)- It was under Pakistani occupation until 1971 when India won it back during the Indo-Pak war. The village is home to 1000 year old structures currently being researched by ASI (Archaeological Survey of India). Across the border you see Pakistani bunkers, tomb of a famous saint from the region and Pakistani flag.Overnight at Kargil.

Day 03

Zanskar Valley Trip, Kargil to Rangdum

After Breakfast proceed for Rangdum, enroute giving a stop at Dhamsna, a must for photographers for capturing stunning landscapes. You can have view of nun-kun peaks in the valley. Check in at Rangdum Camps. Later visit Rangdum Monastery. Don’t exert your body here, except a few acclimitization walks.
Overnight stay- Nunkun Camps, Rangdum; Meals included- Breakfast and Dinner.

Day 04

Zanskar Valley Trip, Rangdum to Padum

After Breakfast, check out from Camps to drive further to Padum via Pensila (4450m)-the administrative capital of Zanskar. Check into Hotel/Guesthouse. Later visit Sani Gompa & the nunnery at Bardan. Overnight at Padum.
Overnight stay- Hotel Zambhala, Padum; Meals included- Breakfast and Dinner.

Day 05

Zanskar Valley Trip, Monastery tour

After Breakfast at Hotel carry out full day excursion to Karsha & Stonghey monasteries followed by the fort at Zangla. Later return to Hotel. Overnight at Padum.
Overnight stay- Hotel Zambhala, Padum; Meals included- Breakfast and Dinner.

Day 06

Zanskar Valley Trip, Padum to Kargil

After Breakfast start return journey to Kargil. Arrive Kargil by evening. Overnight at Kargil.
Overnight stay- Kargil Tourist Camp/ Royal Gasho/ Greenland Kargil; Meals included- Breakfast and Dinner

Day 07

Kargil to Leh

After Breakfast, check out from Hotel, & proceed to Leh enroute visiting 30ft Long Maitreya Buddha, later visit Lamayuru, Likir & Alchi Monastery, followed by Magnetic Hill & Gurudwara Sri Pathar Sahib & Hall of fame. Enroute also check the confluence of Indus & Zanskar river called Sangam by locals. Overnight at Leh.

Day 08

Leh city tour

After Breakfast, visit Shey & Thiksey Monastery with Leh Palace, Spituk Monastery, Hall of fame & Shanti Stupa later during the afternoon. Dont exert your body, if you are feeling tired at anytime during the day. Overnight at Leh.

Day 09

Leh to Khardungla to Turtuk

After early Breakfast, move towards Highest Motorable Road of The World, KhardungLa Pass. Have a cup of Tea there, get yourself clicked with the Khardungla Signboard by BRO & proceed towards Turtuk- the Land of Baltis, which was under control of Pakistan before 1971 War between the two nations. You may like to visit 16 century Masjid and Minaret, Royal house of Yabgo dynasty, Ruin palace of Pun Khar, Historic polo ground. Overnight at Homestay/Camps.

Day 10

Turtuk to Nubra

After Breakfast, proceed to Hunder-Nubra valley. Check-in at Hotel/Camp, freshen up & later you can have a Double Hump Bactarian Camel ride. Dont forget to click this unique mammal, found in cold Desert. It was once used to carry the trade material on silk route. Overnight at Hunder/Nubra Camps/Hotel.

Day 11

Nubra to Leh, enroute Sumoor

After Breakfast, check out from the camps & visit Deskit Monastery, Hot Water Springs, Panamik via confluence of Shyok & Nubra River across Sumoor. Return to Leh by Evening. Overnight at Leh.

Day 12

Leh to Pangong-

After Breakfast, check out from Leh & visit Shey and Thiksey monasteries at Leh. Later proceed for one of the most beautiful & scenic, Salt water Pangong Lake at Spangmik via Changla Pass (17350 ft). Various Bollywood movies have been shot at this lake. One-Third of this lake is controlled by India & rest of the two-third lies under Chinese province. Enjoy the bonfire in evening with your co-travelers turned friends. Overnight at Camps.

Day 13

Pangong to Leh, enroute Hemis and 3 Idiots School

After Breakfast, check out from Camps for return journey to Leh. Enroute visit Hemis Monastery & 3-Idiots School. Overnight at Leh.

Day 14

Leh to Tsomoriri

After Breakfast, you will proceed for an overnight stay across world’s highest Salt water Tsomorriri Lake- enroute passing Shey, Thiksey, Karoo & Upshi. Later you can stop by Chumathang Hot Water Springs before finally arriving at village Karzok. Overnight at Camps.

Day 15

Tsomoriri to Jispa

After Breakfast at Hotel, you are advised to depart from by 8:00am, in order to reach Jispa in due time. Enroute you will come across Upshi, Tanglangla, Moore Plains, Sarchu, Baralacha-la, before finally arriving at Jispa. This route is most loved by shutterbug community, for the amazing snow cladded landscapes & tortuous roads one come across. Overnight at Jispa.

Day 16

Jispa to Manali

After early Breakfast, start your journey to Manali via Keylong, (the administrative centre of Lahaul & Spiti district) & snowbedded Rohtang La . Overnight at Manali.

Day 17

Manali half day city tour, departure for Delhi

After early Breakfast, proceed for Manali Local sightseeing visiting Hadimba Temple, Vashisht & Solang Valley. Depart for Delhi by 4:30pm VOLVO.

Day 18

Arrival at Delhi, tour services end

Today you will arrive at Delhi, Majnu ka Tila

Notes:

• Most of the Hotels in Ladakh provide Extra Mattress/Roll out bed, as Extra Bed.
• Rates valid only for Indian citizens, however, for foreign nationalities, there would only be a minor cost difference arising on account of Innerline Permits, rest remaining the same. At the time of Tour Planning do inform the nationality of your Group Members if any of them is Non-Indian to get the ILPermits issued in advance.
• Hotels/Camps quoted, are subjected to availability at the time of Confirmation, erstwhile a similar category Hotel/Camp shall be offered, with due consideration of quality remaining intact.
• The tourism infrastructure in Ladakh Region is not very developed and one should not expect or compare it with the standards of plains & other developed destinations, you may face scarcity of water and power in the region and so you may come across situation like water (hot) being supplied on time basis – morning & evening.
• Leh vehicles are not allowed to pick up & drop the guest at Srinagar Airport, leading to change of vehicle after coming out of Srinagar Airport.
• In place of Scorpio/XYLO, Tavera shall be offered at Manali & Srinagar.

• The accommodations opted are standard and clean guesthouses at most of the places run byLeh locals. This is done to keep the plan budget-friendly. Inform the tour consultant if you wish to upgrade the stay.

• Meals at the accommodations or other services not utilized during the tour shall be not liable for any kind of refund from the tour price.
• We hold the right to alter the tour schedule in case of bad weather & other conditions beyond our control that might affect the normal itinerary.
• We reserve the right to withdraw the tour two months prior to the tour start date in case of any emergencies- in such a case whole of the paid advance would be refunded.
