MATA VAISHNO DEVI WITH SHIVKHORI DARSHAN

With various mythological tales and pious places, India is a home to various pilgrimage destinations, which includes Mata Vaishno Devi. Considering the devotees’ interest and keenness to go on a Vaishno Devi pilgrimage, we have designed a special spiritual tour package – Mata Vaishno Devi with Shivkhori Dasrshan. First, we take you to the main shrine of Vaishno Devi via chopper and a bit of trekking. Later, we take you to the Shivkhori (Lord Shiva’s cave) and en-route you can visit the shrine of Aghar Jitto and Nau Deviyaan. Thereafter, we transfer you to Jammu Station for further departure.

ITINERARY

Day 1

ARRIVE JAMMU – KATRA – MATA VAISHNO DEVI JI DARSHAN

Morning meet on arrival at Jammu Railway station and drive to Katra. On arrival at Katra check in at hotel. In the Afternoon at 1 ‘0’ clock transfer to Helipad to catch the chopper for Shanjichat. From here will start trek to Mata Vaishno Devi shrine. After Darshan back to Shanjichat to catch the chopper for Katra. On arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2

KATRA – SHIVKHORI – KATRA

After early breakfast go for excursion to Shivkhori temple which is around 70 kms and takes 3 hrs each way to reach. Shivkhori means the cave of Lord Shiva. Along the way to Shivkhori. While driving to the holy place you will also visit two holy spots enroute. Aghar Jitto (6 kms from Katra) which is the shrine of revolutionary Baba Jitto. Next visit the shrine of Nau Deviyan (10 kms from Katra).

On reaching Shivkhori you will be dropped at the starting point of the yatra to the Shivling which is around 4 kms steep walk. The yatra and darshan can take anytime between 1.5 to 3 hours. After darshan return back to the starting point and transferred back to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3

KATRA – JAMMU DROP

After Breakfast drive back to Jammu and transfer to Airport/Railway station for your onward destination.
